Booking Conditions
DECLARATION OF HEALTH
The participant declares not to have any physical, psychological, or pre-existing medical condition prior to the activity. If the participant has any illness or injury that could hinder their ability to engage in the activity, they are obligated to inform the company so that the situation can be assessed or the activity canceled.
RESERVATIONS
- A deposit must be paid to reserve the activity, either by bank transfer or by credit card. The reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the payment.
- If the client cancels the reservation or if any participant does not attend or does not complete the activity, the amounts paid will not be refunded, as places are limited and their absence prevents another person from participating.
- If the company cancels the activity due to weather conditions, the company will reschedule the activity for another day or refund the amounts paid.
- By paying the full amount or the deposit, you accept the terms and conditions outlined here.
THE ACTIVITY
If transportation is required, the client must use their own vehicle.
PAYMENT FOR THE ACTIVITY
- Payment must be made before the start of the activity. The company reserves the right to change the program, in whole or in part, due to adverse weather or hydrological conditions, offering another activity with similar characteristics.
- The cost of activities and/or programs involving multiple activities must be paid in full before the first activity.
- In certain situations, full payment for the activity may be required before the scheduled date.
SECURITY AND BUYER PROTECTION
When paying by credit card through the PAYMENT GATEWAY, the 3DSecure system is used, redirecting the data to secure servers, without us being able to access or store this information.
CANCELLATIONS
If the client cancels the previously booked activity, the amount paid will not be refunded.
If the client decides to cancel the scheduled activity for reasons beyond the company’s control, and the company has taken all reasonable measures to ensure the activity takes place, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Cancellation of the reservation on the same day as the activity or failure to show up on the indicated date and time will result in the client being required to pay the full amount of the activity.
Refunds will be made preferably by the same method used for payment.
GIFT VOUCHER CANCELLATIONS
Gift vouchers are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
No changes to the initially reserved date are accepted. If canceled, annulled, or if the client does not show up for the activity, the amount paid will not be refunded.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
-Mountain activities are physical activities that require walking for 4 to 5 hours, with ascents and descents, sometimes under the sun, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
ACTIVITIES CANNOT BE CARRIED OUT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS. If the activity cannot be carried out for these reasons, the amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.
-The company must be informed in advance if any of the participants require specific attention or have any health risks.
-In the event of dangerous conditions for the practice of the activity (overweight, heart problems, etc.), the organization may deny participation in the activity. It is necessary to provide accurate information regarding the weights and measurements requested in the reservation form, as they are needed to prepare the equipment used in the activity.
Translation into English:
-If the client, by their own choice, due to not having the essential necessary equipment (sports shoes), or for not meeting any of the necessary conditions for the development of the activity, is excluded from it, the amount for the activity will not be refunded.
CONTAINERS
-The container barrels are quite secure, but (although it is uncommon) water may get inside due to improper closure, a bump, etc.
-We recommend not placing valuables inside, only food and clothing. Some items can be carried by the guide (e.g., car keys) or left in the vehicle, office, etc. Guías Buenaventura is not responsible for items stored in the barrels.
ACTIVITY INSURANCE
-Guías Buenaventura has the mandatory insurance for sports activities according to established laws; civil liability insurance (R.C) and accident insurance.
WEBSITE INFORMATION
-Canyoning and climbing are risky sports. Guías Buenaventura is not responsible for activities carried out on your own based on the content of the website, blog, etc., nor for errors in texts, photos, or diagrams. Copying or distribution of photos or content without the author’s permission is not allowed.
