Along our tour we’ll explain to you the Arab origins of the fortress that eventually gave rise to the town of Alquezar, the ancient castle, the walls surrounding the old town and the Medieval street markets. We’ll visit some of the most singular buildings and spaces. We’ll discover some stone carvings and the hidden messages they conceal.

We’ll take you along the promenade overlooking the canyons carved on the rock by the river Vero, to relish some unique views that will help you travel back in time and understand the unexpected transformation of a ghost-town-to-be to one of the most visited towns in the province, prompting its appearance in the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in Spain’ list.
