Canyoneering level IV
Canyoneering for experts (level 4) is a whole adventure in itself; it comprises the longest and most symbolic routes in all the Sierra de Guara and the Aragonese (Central) Pyrenees.
These are physically demanding routes, only accessible to seasoned physically-fit climbers, as the descents are long and highly aquatic, meaning you’ll be in contact with cold water for a long time.
Please note that the itineraries may take up to 12 hours, during which you’ll have to endure considerable physical effort. Therefore, it’s highly advisable to be cautious and assess your own abilities and resistance in all honesty before you opt in for these descents.
If you’re still considering this option, it´s interesting to know that after these prolonged descents you might well come across uninhabited villages, Romanesque churches, dolmens and many other jewels of our historical legacy.
All along these breathtakingly fascinating routes, we’ll do several abseils/rappels and dives into giant’s kettles infinite natural pools, and a whole lot of narrow gorges and felsenmeers or block fields.
